Il sogno di un’opera
Promotional Film for Arte Laguna Prize
As artists, we often dream of our work before it even exists.
In this case, for some of us, Venice — and the context of Arte Laguna — becomes the spark that makes the dream take shape.
“Was I dreamed before I existed?”
With this question, the artwork walks within its own dream — the dream of arriving in Venice, of becoming something alive and real.
A body covered in paint moves through the city like a canvas in motion, absorbing architecture, silence, history.
A living work, uncertain whether it is arriving for the first time or returning home.
Here, art doesn’t sleep — it keeps dreaming, even when eyes are watching.
This piece was conceived and directed as the official video for the Arte Laguna Prize, but it also stands as a personal reflection on the beauty, fragility, and power of creation.
