Esther Eeleene’s choreographic practice is a costumbrista portrait of life: a poetic observation of everyday gestures, encounters, and rituals. Blending dance, film, and performance, she transforms the ordinary into playful, intimate, and emotionally charged landscapes — an ode to the beauty, fragility, and joy of being alive.

IL SOGNO DI UN'OPERA

“Did I dream before I existed?” With this question, the piece walks inside its own dream: the dream of arriving in Venice, of becoming something alive and real. A body of paint moves through the city like a moving canvas, absorbing architecture, silence, history.  A living work, uncertain whether it is arriving for the first time or returning home.

This piece was conceived and directed as the official video for Arte Laguna.
